For both Red Hat and SuSE, is there a way to identify all the pre- and co-req patches required by (say,) a particular security patch? I mean, other than doing so the hard way, by "hand", so to speak.
For z/VM I'd merely ask IBM to ship me the fix, and any pre-, co-, or if-reqs. I'm looking for something similar for Linux. I realize that the various "online update" tools will do this for me, but there are reasons I need to pre-fetch and "stage" on local disk a particular patch. And I'd like to be certain that I've pre-staged any requisite fixes too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
