There is a script dbginfo.sh in the s390-tools package. It is intended to
collect information on a Linux on System z system to support the debugging

process. You can find the package on a Novell SUSE SLES distribution (I'm
not sure if the package is already in a Rad Hat RHEL distribution) Since
the
tool gets always improved and enhanced an even better source is a download

of the latest version from the developerworks page
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/linux/linux390/s390-tools-1.6.1.html
dbginfo.sh collects data in the /proc file system and logs and issues z/VM
and Linux commands.
