Sure. I for myself would it enable by default, but I don't know the
background why it is disabled by default. So it's up to Martin to
comment on that.

The patch was not meant to be applied for customers... just if somebody
wants to play with it. Nothing more.

That's what the EX_TABLE line is for. Roughly spoken it will catch the
program check and redirect the PSW.
At least it works for me on machines with and without ESSA instructions ;)
