According to Linux, the disk is empty. There is no data. When you're
using mini disks, then you already had the device attached to SYSTEM
on the new VM system, so you'd have to double check the directory
entry. When you use dedicated volumes, it may be the volume was missed
in the restore (or shifted by 1 cylinder).
