Hi, Aristarc.

According to Linux, your 202 (/dev/dasdb) disk is not low level formatted
(dasdfmt). Make
sure you DDRed all of it from your G6 to the z9 or simply reformat it on the z9
and
restore the /dev/dasdb1 file system from a backup.

Have a good one.

Hi, we are trying to move our Linux guest from G6 9672 with z/VM 4.3 to our
z9 with z/VM 5.2
After we halt our guest, we make a DDR copy of the DASD volumes and restore
them in the new machine. It seems that all works fine, but in the boot log
appears this error.

(See attached file: boot.txt)

Can anyone tell me something about this?

Thanks in advance,
Aris.
