Been there, done that, got the t-shirt... If I remember correctly, I was mounting /opt to a new volume of its own, and yast uses stuff in /opt/gnome. If you have been doing the same, mounting the new opt volume to another mount point, e.g. /opt2, and copying the whole /opt there, and then mounting it as /opt again, might solve the problem.
