The cook book http://linuxvm.org/Present/misc/virt-cookbook-S10.pdf
Displays nice neat groupings of software packages for deselection. When I entered software, in yast text mode, I ended up with only xscreensaver displaying after all the resolving message. Even though the installation settings page displayed the packages selected in the nice neat groupings of Software: Suse LInux Enterprise Server 10 sp1 + X window server + print server + GNOME desktop environment for Server + 32bit Runtime .. + server base Not know quite what to do I went to filter and after changing the filter ended up with thousands of packages listed. Where the functions like x windows was broken out into several packages. In addition to being a lot harder to deselect the packages and getting all its parts. I am in a sever resource constrain environment where each package deselection resolution takes (30 minutes) and even scrolling down the list takes forever. Any instruction on how to get the grouping listing instead of all the nasty parts? I am thinking it would be just easier to install the extras then try taking them out this way and only get 1/2 of the parts.
