There was at one time a 3270-based full screen edit called NED.... it behaved the same way Xedit did, at least to some degree, I think. I haven't heard anything new about it for at least the last 4 years, so I suspect that it would take some significant work to get it up to date with the newer 2.6 kernels. I don't even know if it's still available anywhere.
It really should not care what your kernel is. If it's any good:-), it shouldn't require more than a simple recompilation. Possibly, some library changes might cause some difficulties. -- Cheers John -- spambait [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Advice http://webfoot.com/advice/email.top.php http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 You cannot reply off-list:-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
