Guys,

Thanks to all, I m updated the version of package sysconfig-hardware on
Debian to Lenny version. And the problem with OSA in Hipersocket mode was
solved.

The version of sysconfig-hardware package is 0.0.8 and the kernel version
on Debian is 2.6.26-1-s390x.

It worked fine.

Best regards,

Fernando Gieseler

I didn't see any answer to this, so I'll try. What exactly is the
problem? Is the OSA not coming online? Is the OSA online, but the
interface not being created? Is the interface being created, but not
activated?

Is this Linux system running on z/VM? If so, what does "q nic details"
and "q nic lan details" show?
