My impression was that LA works towards the device (trunk) side of a VSWITCH 
and bonding works towards the vNIC (port) side. Well, no matter, now you say it 
is possible I am missing a piece of information: how to specify the 
ehterchannel/trunking on the VSWITCH. Or is VSWITCH intelligent enough to find 
that out by itself? If so, they should learn that trick to hardware switches as 
well....
