So again, to clarify, two questions: 1. The checkpass value (field 6) has no bearing on whether a given volume will be automatically mounted and determines only the order in which fsck will examine the volume (if at all.) Is this correct?
2. The ONLY way to specify that a given fstab entry should NOT be mounted at boot time is to specify the NOAUTO option in the options list (field 4.) Is this correct? Sorry to be redundant but I want to make absolutely sure my understanding is correct.
