Hi we are trying to connect Open Systems disks (EMC) to our z10 running Z/VM 5.40 for the first time We are attaching them directly to Linux servers We have set up the channel as a FCP with WWPN We can vary the devices online and when we attach them to a user, we can see the WWPN The storage people have enabled NPIV on the Cisco 9513 They can see the WWN of the physical device, but not the virtual WWPN We suspect that we are missing on some step Is there a step-by-step cookbook for the Cisco somewhere thank you
