You are ATTACHing/DEDICATEing one address to your guest. You can have multiple
address on one Ficon chpid. Eg in my system:
CHPID    PCHID=151,TYPE=FCP,PATH=(CSS(0),35),SHARED,                  *
              PARTITION=(CSS(0),(BWVML),(=))
CNTLUNIT CUNUMBR=3500,PATH=(CSS(0),35),UNIT=FCP
 IODEVICE ADDRESS=(4000,032),CUNUMBR=(3500),UNIT=FCP,                  *
               PARTITION=(CSS(0),BWVML)
Which means that I have addresses 4000-401F to attach to guests. In theory that
could mean 32 different guests, but you have to consider aggregate bandwidth as
well. Hope this helps.

Pieter Harder
