Hi Marcy,

Maybe it's re-added when installing patches / new packages ?

I know from experience that installing a new version of the package aaa_base
in SLES will revert back some "customizations" you might have done (like
editing scripts in /etc/init.d -- not that I recommend doing so)...

Also, you might want to look at the SuSEconfig configuration.  I don't think
it will re-add users, but this script will change back permissions on some
system files you might have changed in your hardening process.
