What Linux are you using?
We find that some allow you to 'zfcp_disk_config' paths which are not
present and the WWPNs are recorded under /etc/sysconfig/hardware.

I recommend that you script your live LUNs and then also script your
DR LUNs. In a pinch, you can re-run either script. (Assuming you have
ANY non-SCSI disk to run from.)

I've never seen LUNs stamped in the INITRD which were not live. I HAVE
seen LUNs which were not int the INITRD come up when configured in the
files.
