Hello Gary,

I don't have any tape stuff on hand right now, so the details will be
terse...

If there is an entry in /dev for your tape, then you need to unconfigure
that first.  I think you'll have something like

/sys/bus/scsi/devices/<scsi_dev_id>/delete

You can figure out scsi_dev_id with lszfcp -D.

Zfcp device removel HELP!!!






I need to remove a problem device so I can try and re-add it and get the
system back up at 100%.

I am trying to remove a fzp attached ts1120 tape drive by hand without
yast.
Yast doesn't work well with screen reading software for the blind.
I tried the following with no luck

Echo 0x0000000000000000 >
/sys/bus/ccw/drivers/0.0.0401/0x500507630f5bbf0a/unit_remove

Verified the wwpn and lun number.

What have I missed?
