I have no problem getting it to work on my HP Compaq 8510w, while I was in IBM. Of course with the USB dongle, and the key from the resourcelink. Installed it with OpenSUSE 10.1, as far as I remembered. But I do not have it anymore, now my laptop running only Windows.

On their choice of hardware, of course. Since "opensuse" gets a mention, I don't suppose IBM is too concerned about the quality of the underlying host OS, so users' choice from the major distros should be equally acceptable.
