I can't begin to explain how to add to what was already discussed, but
here goes. Basically according to the original inventor of the FUSE
modules, SSHFS is basically method of doing that which you understand
now.

And to make it work the instructions that Christian Paro quoted are in
fact exactly what the author had in mind when he created the FUSE
items and added those bindings.
