It seems as though it's a feature of the new kernel and new udev. The kernel is generating the uevents to add the dm-? device(s), udev is acting on them, and device mapper is recognizing the PV/VG/LV. > 2) Is there a configuration parameter somewhere to enable/disable this > behavior?
