Listers,
Wanted to update everyone with the good news. I now have Oracle 10.2.0
installed and Database created under my SUSE Linux 10 SP2 (s390x). Damian
Gallagher helped me and without his help, I would still be struggling.
Damian first sent me an rpm to determine which pre-req software I needed to get
Oracle installed. After running the rpm, he assisted me with installing the
missing software. Once this was completed, we worked together to install the
Oracle software and then create a Database. Damian also sent me fix 6007358 to
resolve an error we ran into with the runInstaller script.
I would like to send thanks to this list and a special thanks to Damian
Gallagher for the help I received.

Listers,
I am running SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 SP2 (s390x) under z/VM 540 and am
trying to install Oracle 10.2.0 Database.
uname -r
2.6.16.60-0.21-default
Since it should run under version 10, but the manual states the install process
only supports up to version 9, I have to ignore the prereqs:
./runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs
I get about 65% complete during the actual install and then I get an error. I
looked in the logs and it is complaining about a cc command.

How do I get this "cc" command?
