Hi All,
I 'm a student. I'm trying to install a SLES10 in z/VM 5.2 running under
Hercules 3.06. I'm new in this. Just I want to learn more.
I have some problem with the configuration of the network and I don't know why
I cannot ping the gateway, I don't know how to define the vswitch, the NIC well
, etc.
I send here the configurations and some messages.

Please help me! I can communicate from the VM and the my XP machine. It's mean,
I can ping the the zvm IP address from windows and I can ping the windows
(tuning off the firewall from zVM. But I cannot ping the gateway from the zVM.
At the end, I need to configure well the networking and to be able after
terminate the installation of the Linux in zVM. I need comunication between zVM
and Linux.
