One of my colleagues is trying to install openoffice on SLES 11 on z and is running into a problem with an RPM error:
installation of openoffice.org-ure-1.6.0-9483 failed: (with --nodeps --force) Error: Subprocess failed. Error:RPM failed: error: unpacking of archive failed: cpio: Bad magic I google'd this and found some email discussions about the problem, but no clear resolution. Does anyone have any ideas? Is anyone using something other than OpenOffice to convert .doc files to .pdf?
