Two statements from the storage team --

1) Storage array is an EMC CLARiiON CX-700 running FLARE 26.

2) Multipath has to be configured even though there is only one port -- 
multiple devices.

So, does it make sense to anyone that I would have to configure multipath?  
Maybe I just need to drink more coffee.

I agree that the problem is probably outside of your z10.  I think there
is something wrong with your storage array.  What is it?  One of those
little EMC arrays?

It is not a zoning issue.  There wouldn't be messages about sense data if
the channel couldn't talk to the storage array.
