Now that z/VM 6.2 is “official” the abstract for Richard Lewis’ presentation at next week’s Hillgang now reads:
z/VM V6.2 was announced on October 12, 2011. z/VM 6.2 provides multi-system clustering technology allowing up to four z/VM instances to be clustered in a Single System Image. This presentation will provide an overview of the new features and functions in z/VM 6.2 including the new Live Guest Relocation capability. Special attention will be paid to changes in the definition of virtual machines, and the notion of relocation domains. Wednesday’s meeting is at the CA Office in Herndon Virginia.
