Take a look at
http://www.novell.com/support/viewContent.do?externalId=7010225&sliceId=2 for
an explanation of what's what. With the introduction of the new maintenance
model, a lot of things are going to be changing in this area. You might want
to consider attending Marcus Kraft's session:
10739: Software Lifecycle Management with SUSE
Wednesday, March 14, 2012: 1:30 PM-2:30 PM

It won't be specifically about the new maintenance model, but Marcus will
certainly be able to answer questions about it.

Going back to the "move-to" patch for a minute; it will show up in the
SLES11-SP1-Updates channel, since that's where all your system maintenance
currently comes from. When that patch is released (apparently it's not out
there yet), it will attempt to add the SP2 channels that are needed. As the
TID explains, the channels that will be available are
SLES11-SP2-Core
SLES11-SP2-Extension-Store
SLES11-SP2-Updates

I would expect only the Core channel to have anything in it at the moment.
