I've been studiously ignoring TXSeries for the last few years but you're right it's time I looked more closely. Generally KICKS differentiates itself from CICS along the classic peer-to-peer vrs infrastructure divide. Where all versions of CICS require systems and/or administrative support, KICKS is designed to be installed, used, and maintained by individual users, who, despite this lack of central coordination and control, are able to share resources as they choose.
