It builds and runs cleanly (there's no s390x RPM AFAIK, but the source RPM 
builds without problems). 

As to whether it's a good idea, I'll leave that to the theologians. It's no 
better or worse than it is on any other platform, although it (MongoDB) is 
designed for machines where I/O is expensive and RAM is cheap, which tends to 
not play nice in a shared environment. Depends on what you need it to do.
