Dan, > nice to see it's an alive project, but can we get also the source rpm > or the mz.tgz archive? Or also the sources moved to a git repository?
It's about 99% in bash (with a small amount of JavaScript), so all the code is in the RPM. The one exception may be the mz.spec file is not in the RPM, so I put that up in the files section of SourceForge also. (Oh wait, /usr/local/sbin/smiucv is compiled C code, but in an amazingly cool fashion, Leland Lucius put the C code in the smaclient bash script!) I did not set up a git repository (but could - probably subversion though) as nobody has expressed an interest in contributing. Certainly it's open for contributions - that's probably the most important aspect of open source. I'll throw out one enticement: the new z/VM drill down page is an attempt to show the health of z/VM in a single page to those who may not know too much about z/VM. See screen shot 4/4 (or try the code yourself :)). Of course, it's just a "stake in the ground" and needs more work, but it's something that may already be helpful to many shops.
