I was talking to Carsten and he said that the MAC address gets registered with the OSA card via calls from the Linux kernel drivers. He also mentioned that KVM faces the same problem. We will attempt to do the registering of the extra MAC addresses from a kernel module running on the bridge machine. I'll let you know if we have any success with that.
