Marcy, Everyone should hold off testing this release, until a fixed one is released. Today SuSE says:
You might have seen the note that a SLES11 SP3 kernel was released last
week.
Unfortunately this last SLE11-SP3 update kernel, has a fatal regression
that can trigger a kernel Oops/BUG during network operation.
The kernel was removed from the official update channel and is not
available anymore.
However customers might have downloaded it already or especially customers
with a running SMT server are likely to still have a working copy of that
problematic kernel.
In case you know about customers who updated the kernel already or you come
accross a kernel Oops, the problematic kernel version is: -3.0.101-0.18.1
Thank you for your help,

For inquiring minds, the fix for this just hit the SUSE service stream.
