Hi Mike,
Do you happen to have any more detail on what it does to the network?
Is it something that is likely to occur? Symptoms?
Just trying to figure out if it is worth the risk. :-)
Thanks,
Leland

Marcy,
Everyone should hold off testing this release, until a fixed one is
released. Today SuSE says:
You might have seen the note that a SLES11 SP3 kernel was released last
week.
Unfortunately this last SLE11-SP3 update kernel, has a fatal regression
that can trigger a kernel Oops/BUG during network operation.
The kernel was removed from the official update channel and is not
available anymore.
However customers might have downloaded it already or especially customers
with a running SMT server are likely to still have a working copy of that
problematic kernel.
In case you know about customers who updated the kernel already or you come
accross a kernel Oops, the problematic kernel version is: -3.0.101-0.18.1
Thank you for your help,

For inquiring minds, the fix for this just hit the SUSE service stream.
