I still can't get z/vm 5.3 to recognize dasd / put anything into /proc/dasd/devices I've been experimenting with adding / removing to the LINUX VM directory : DEDICATE 200 200 DEDICATE 201 201 And tried this in the PRM file : DASD=200-201 -------------- stand alone machine----------- cat /proc/dasd/devices 0200(ECKD) at (94:0) is dasda:active at blocksize: 4096, 601020 blocks, 2347 MB 0201(ECKD) at (94:4) is dasdb:active at blocksize: 4096, 601020 blocks, 2347 MB ---------- z/vm 5.3 -------------- [root@(none) dasd]# cat devices cat devices [root@(none) dasd]# ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For more information on Linux on System z, visit http://wiki.linuxvm.org/
