But I assume that you have this setup in order to set memory online eventually, right? You should take care to first set low memory online. Otherwise when you e.g. set the last memory chunk online, you would have the same problem and you would get a huge dump. The reason is that the DASD dump tools use a very simple dump format that does not support memory holes.
