Hello,

I am installing SUSE 11.3 on an z LPAR (not under zVM). A full ISO image
of the SUSE Linux for zSeries was downloaded (2 dvd's).

The dvd is loaded in the HMC cdrom and perform the IPL - Load from
Removable Media or Server. That works and is loaded successfully and in
the Operating System Messages window, it goes through initialization. When
the prompts begin, I select:
1) Main Menu: 1-Installation
2) Start Installation: 1-Start Installation or Update
3) Choose the source medium: 1) DVD / CD ROM

After this, I get a message: ***** No repository found

What does this message mean? Does it mean it can't find a repository file
in the DVD? What about on the 2nd DVD? When is the 2nd DVD read?

I have read so many SUSE install docs and nowhere does it say what this
might mean. Many of the processes I've read that describes my type of
installation are very cryptic. I've also tried choosing option 2) Network
when prompted for the source medium. That also failed with the same
message about no repository found.

Is there a document somewhere that fully describes and explains what each
prompt is asking for? A demo or pictures are worth a thousand words.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Steve.
