Just an update. We have network connectivity to the HMC but now think we need a separate network connection to the SE (EC12). So the initial file that was pulled was to the HMC connection and the subsequent pulls will be to the SE connection (once we get it set up). Hopefully this is right.

So booting from an FTP server is a nice way to get around that problem. To the host OS it looks like the DVD drive, but the SE is using FTP behind the scenes.
