"Best" is a point in time assessment, Berry. The good news is that it's easy to switch from CMS boot to Linux boot, and vice versa, as your needs change. o If you IPL CMS first, DETACH the disks before you IPL Linux. o If you IPL Linux first, then make sure you don't have the CMS disks in the directory.
