After talking to some folks at IBM, and checking when I was not on my company
network (same laptop, no browser changes), I found that if you have a pop-up/ad
blocker on, or if your network is doing some of that for you (my case), you
won't see the announcement on the main page either. It's treated on wired as an
ad of sorts. So turn off the blocker, at least for that site, or try it on a
more open network and it shows up at the top of the page.
Hopefully this isn't causing a lot less people to see it...
