Frank, I've seen that where the installer finds an old LVM signature on the disk. Yes, you could argue it's a bug.
And then as I recall it can be difficult to get rid of. I recall doing something like IPLing CMS and issuing a CMS FORMAT against it to be sure the signature is wiped out. Then a new install would work. Hope this helps. -Mike MacIsaac On Mon, May 2, 2016 at 1:58 PM, Frank Wolfe <fwolfe2...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi there > > I am in the process of doing an SLES 12 SP1 install using ssh as the option > and I keep getting this error. > > > [image: Inline image 1] > > Is there any reason for this? > > Have a good day > > Frank > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, > send email to lists...@vm.marist.edu with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or > visit > http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > For more information on Linux on System z, visit > http://wiki.linuxvm.org/ > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@vm.marist.edu with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For more information on Linux on System z, visit http://wiki.linuxvm.org/
