Hello, I have the following network configuration scenarios. In scenario 1 - physical network infrastructure attached to Mainframe is not involved in communication between two zLinux hosts and traffic is handled on zVM level , is it a correct assumption ?
Scenario 1: 2x zLinux on VSWITCH (option Layer-2), same VLAN, connected to same VSWITCH (same CHPID) on the same zVM LPAR. Scenario 2: 2x zLinux on VSWITCH (option Layer-2), same VLAN, running in 2 different Datacentres , on 2 different LPARs.
