Over the past several days, I "cut a release" (that's GitHub speak) of
the xmitmsgX package. This is 2.1.3 and includes an RPM for 64-bit AMD.
(Sorry, does not yet have an S390X RPM, but "soon".)

The wizard from Oz had turned the crank on USS and provided feedback.
(We thank ye.) I rolled that in some time back but have not yet been
able to re-test (not having access to USS myself).

The big news for Rexx aficionados is that this release includes support
for Regina. (Sorry, ooRexx is rather more complicated, but I'm still
open to help and contributions.)

The search for message the repository is improved: It
scans/usr/share/locale even if the compiled-in prefix is other than
"/usr". It also scans/usr/lib/nls/msg and a couple others.
One effect of this change is that 'xmitmsg' should work more
consistently in mixed environments (where messages might get put into
different places), not needing a re-compile. Same goes for apps linked
against the library.
FreeBSD seems to prefer a default locale of "C" rather than (e.g.)
"en_US" or similar, so the scanner looks for that too just in case.
