Hi there everybody!
Has anybody been able to get bcc to run under ELKS? There's an abandoned
286 at school that I'd really like to install ELKS on but I can't have
too much fun without a C compiler... :)
I spent the last hour or so (yes, laugh at me, I am an idiot) trying to
get bcc to compile itself as 8086 ELKS binaries but it didn't work... :P
This is the error I get:
ld86: text segment too large for 16bit
make: *** [bcc-cc1] Error 1
But the ELF bcc binary is but a mere 16.4 kilobytes...
I'd be really interested if somebody has figured this out already...
