Hold on, now.  I'll admit, I've been on this list for a little while, with
not a whole lot of activity lately, and I keep telling myself "...someday,
I'm going to dig the old IBM PC out of storage and get ELKs going on it."
but that day just hasn't come yet.  I certainly don't think elks can be
too dead, as if nothing else, there are some fairly recent versions that
as far as I know, seemed to be working fairly well.  If all else fails, I
hope that someone can point, well, you and me both to the latest and
greatest version.  If nothing else, we can keep the source around for the
next person who wants to try their hand at adding to/debugging the OS.
