Check the list archives for mail from me. I've got a system running X that's
now up to 11 days. I'm going to let it go for a month before moving to my next
stage of testing.
Part of my "fix" is not using xscreensaver, the rest is in BIOS settings.
I've done stress tests with xscreensaver hacks running in windows, but not in
the foreground, lock the screen mode. However, when I run xscreensaver as a
screensaver I get a lock after a few days.
During the weekend of the 20th (when I'll have a month of uptime) I'm
going to reenable xscreensaver, but have it configured to disable double
buffering. There is a reference on Jamie's homepage to double buffering
causing problems on other platforms. May or may not be related to our
problem, but it deserves checking out.
