 I feel lucky. On a 2.2 or a 2.3 kernel, mine works fine. I just have:

alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0
alias snd-card-0 es1371
alias sound-service-0-0 es1371
alias sound-service-0-3 es1371

 In my modules.conf. I'm not reserving any IRQ's for ISA in the BIOS or
anything.

 Are there archives of this list ? I'm only after joining & have loads of
questions & worries. And to top it all off, CPU fan 0 is sounding a bit
loud :(
