I think the Slackware 7.0 is the most solid distribution there is. If you
want a linux distribution that is easy to set up and optimized for pentiums,
then I would recommend Mandrake 7.02
Slackware, gets raped by the reviewers because it is not as easy to setup as
most, but in my mind
it is the best distribution there is.
Mandrake 7.0 being second choice. I use Slackware 7.0 as my firewall and
Mandrake for my
main machine.
