I know these messages arent critical, and ive always ignored them, but all my controllers (PIIX4 and HPT366) are detected as; [PIIX4 or HPT366]: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later The kernel does detect the interrupts later, so maybe im trying to make a mountain out of a molehill, but anyway, a few questions. 1. Does this indicate any sort of performance degridation ? 2. Could this have anything to do with loosing interrupts under load in dma mode ? 3. What would cause them not to be 100% native?
