I have succeeded in getting the MSI Motherboard to boot and be stable. I
had to remove the second celeron, adn the system seems to work fine with
only one CPU and no CPU terminator.
After several tests, I was unable to get the Promise ATA/100 controller to
recognize connected drives under 2.2.17, however under 2.4.0-test8 drives
did recognize.
The only stumbling block I am having is that I am trying to add an 80GB
Maxtor IDE drive (ata 100) to one of my systems and it's giving me
fits. The Promise sees it (although I can't see what details it
sees). Thoughts here?
