:My bp6 works fine as long as im not in X it has the AMS 1085CD at
:location Q6 and the 100uF cap at location EC10. Anyone know much about
:this combination? My VTT flucuates from 1.47-1.53. Anything I could do
:to stop the random lockups in X. I have ONLY locked up in X. NEVER in
:console. No matter what version of X or kernel or bios setting or kernel
:boot settings[noapic], or even bios update that I use.

Try setting your memory speed in the BIOS to CAS-2. If I leave it
at the default CAS-3, I get random lockups in 9 days on average. Since
I've downgraded to CAS-2, I get this:

 12:29pm up 28 days, 4:29, 15 users, load average: 2.04, 2.09, 2.24

It's the longest uptime I've been ever having. I'm currently running:

Linux nice 2.4.0-t13-p7 #1 SMP Sun Dec 31 13:00:42 MET 2000 i686 unknown
