Not enough fresh water to sustain life..in the MidEast?

Are you fucking insane?

I spent a year in Saudi Arabia....100% desert. We had more fresh water
than we knew what to do with...and there are HUGE farms in that desert,
growing absolutely fantastic crops...with FRESH WATER.

Tell me, how does one grow crops that require fresh-water if there
is a shortage of same?

Oh, and have you ever flown over Arizona or New Mexico? You will
notice HUGE GREEN CIRCLES, where, once again, there are large
(FRESH-WATER BASED) FARMING ACTIVITIES.

Clue for the fucking clueless idiot:

        Ever hear of DESALINIZATION!?!?!?!

Pure BS, or just different from what you experienced? Windows 2000 takes a
varying length of time to install - minimum install time would seem to be
about 25 minutes.

Given that developers always raved about how good the tools were with
NeXT, I'm not that surprised to find that Mac OS X also pleases
developers.

This guy I used to work for liked it enough that he bought black
hardware. We were talking about NeXT one day and he said, with a slight

was high praise indeed. :-)
