Probably not. A lot of people who've suffered bitterly in the past from
botched Linux installs have made "ease of install" a prime metric for
evaluating Linux distributions. Right or wrong, installation has become
the holy grail for a lot of people.
Mandrake is reputed to have the most comprehensive hardware support, auto
detection, and hands-off setup of any distribution. So what you're
probably witnessing now is the unbounded exuberance of a lot of people who
are plain tickled shitlesss that they got Linux to even install, period.
Give it a few weeks, someone will complain. They always have.
Anyway, I'll let you know. I just ordered the 7 CD pack this morning. But
then I've never had any serious problems installing Caldera or RedHat, so
I probably won't be quite so jubilent if Mandrake performs as advertised.

lol, nice to here someone out there will a sense of humour. The funniest
part was an American tourist who went up to a information desk at Auckland
Airport asking where the "bathroom" is, the person at desk was puzzled, then
she realised, 'Oh, do you mean a toilet?". What a classic. Are there any
yanks who can say that dreaded word "toilet" in public?
